Last Saturday while running errands, I went to Sephora to return something.  When I walked in the door, the first thing I saw were the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip And Cheek Creamy Oil.  It was front and center and there was no way around it!  I was drawn in like a moth to a flame.  I had recently added some Josie Maran products to the imaginary wish list in my head after reading this post from Phyrra.

Even though my bank account would have benefitted much more by a simple return, I exchanged the skincare I was bringing back for this Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil in Limitless Pink.  I picked it because it seemed to be the sheerest of the bunch.  It’s the opposite of what most people would do, I know, but I’m weird like that!

Limitless Pink can be applied to either your lips or cheeks (obviously).  When applied to the lips it is very soothing and I can literally feel it change from a cream to an oil.  It adds a rosy tint to my lips, more of a tinted lip treatment than a gloss or a balm.  My lips feel hydrated for several hours after applying.  The closest thing I can think to compare it to is my Bite Beauty Agave Mask that I apply when I go to bed, but in a thinner consistency.

The main reason I purchased Limitless Pink was to work as a cheek product!  I have been reaching more and more for my IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination (click here for my review).  I picked up the light version during their recent Friends & Family sale.  It’s the only powder foundation I have ever truly enjoyed wearing because it does not look powdery or highlight the dry patches on my face.  My cheeks can look dry though, after applying a powder blush!  Since I can’t have that I wanted to find a creamy cheek product I could layer over the foundation when I am getting ready for work in the morning.

And that folks, is the reason I wanted a more sheer color -  the lighting in my beauty room is horrid at 7:00 in the morning and I often find myself in the bathroom at work trying to blend the blush on the right cheek with my fingers!  I have no trouble blending Limitless Pink.  It applies effortlessly without disturbing the foundation beneath it and gives my cheeks a healthy, radiant glow, perfect for work.  It even lasts all day when worn over a powder, though only 6-7 hours when wearing my beloved BB or CC creams.

Now that I know the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil works so well for me, I will be headed back to Sephora to pick up Endless Guava and Everlasting Honey!

Top 10 Earth Friendly Nail Brands

Top 10 Earth Friendly Nail Brands

Happy Earth Day!  I have always loved Earth Day.  I was that kid in school that got made fun of because I had notebooks made out of recycled paper.  Now, it’s totally normal to purchase recycled paper products, but back in 7th grade (1991?) it wasn’t “cool.”  Not until I went to college in Boulder, Colorado did I feel like I fit in.  In fact, I was way less “green” than most of the students there!

This Earth Day the ladies of Top Ten Tuesday are discussing our favorite "green" brands or products. I am sharing with you 10 Earth Friendly Nails Brands.  Some are cruelty-free, some are vegan, but all are ecofriendly!  I haven’t yet had the chance to try all of these brands yet, but I want to!

butter LONDON Lolly Brights LIPPY Sheer Lip Gloss

This morning I brought you two polishes from the butter LONDON Lolly Brights collection, and this evening I have three of the LIPPY Sheer Lip Glosses for you!
butter LONDON LIPPY - Twee, Chuffed and Stroppy

This glosses are all named after the original Jelly collection – Twee, a sheer magenta, Chuffed, a sheer tangerine, and Stroppy, a sheer radiant orchid.

butter LONDON LIPPY swatches - Twee, Chuffed and Stroppy

Each gloss has gorgeous shimmer particles that make your lips appear larger than life.  I am a big fan of the way these feel on the lips – and they smell even better!  Unlike some previous incarnations of the LIPPY glosses, these have a light fragrance that fades quickly after applying.  It’s sweet and not at all floral, which is the problem I had with the original formula.

Overall I am loving these glosses!  I thought my favorite would be Twee, but Chuffed is my favorite.  Though it’s sheer, it’s the most true-to-color on the lips.  A great way for wimps like me to pull off an orange lip!

The butter LONDON Lolly Brights LIPPY’s retail for $20.00 and are available at ULTA.com, Macys.com, Zappos.com and www.butterlondon.com.  I highly recommend checking them out!  Don't forget to check out the polishes too!
