I had no idea what Revlon Just Tinted would be, but I did not think it would be an even lumpy matte mess that only looked good with a top coat! Once you add the top coat, it's just another "sorbet" or jelly, just not very squishy. I do love the silver crackle on top of it, I wore this as my Memorial Day mani. What do you ladies think of this combination?

Happy Memorial Day to my US ladies! Today's makeup Monday is a super simple EOTD with some new products I am trying out. First, I picked up two new products from Revlon, Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara (above, one coat) and the Grow Luscious Lash Liner (on upper water line). I was most interested in trying the pencil! Ever since this post I read on Beauty and the Bullshit.
I also received this eyeshadow from this ebay seller a few months ago. Etude House is a Korean brand that makes surprisingly cute yet still wearable cosmetics. How can you resist and eyeshadow that looks like a cupcake???
So far, I like the eyeshadow, it was easy to apply over a base (I used Paul & Joe 04 Eye Gloss N in Halo). I loved the way the eyeliner applied, now we just have to see how it does on the waterline. As for the mascara? Color me not impressed.

I don't like pink. I don't! But I am often surprised by how much I like some pink polishes. There are two things that are very special about this new release from Cult Nails.
1. This applies like a dream and needs no top coat. I did not use topcoat in any of these pics, can you believe how shiny it is?
2. The name! How can you NOT like something called Devious Nature? *evil grin*

Friends...
My life has been hectic lately. My blog reflects it, I know! (I promise I will announce my giveaway winners soon!) I can't find enough hours in the day to do want I want, include respond to all of your wonderful comments - I am SO far behind. I want you all to know that your comments get me through the long work days, and also the days when I am home sick...
Today I came home after working 12 hours to the most wonderful care packages from across the world, one from Slovenia and one from the Czech Republic.

Makeup Monday - Physicians Formula Bronzing Shimmer Strips
Welcome to another Physicians Formula Makeup Monday! There is a great deal going on right now at both Rite Aid and Ulta that includes Physician Formula, so I wanted to show you all of my Shimmer Strips. The Shimmer strips are identical 'in concept" to Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, but a third of the price. The pigmentation on these is good, especially for drugstore prices. But, alas, they will never be Bobbi Brown!
I have managed to collect all six of these, that act as bronzer, highlight, and shadow.
