All of the products I am sharing with you today are products I have purchased over and over again. With that being said, I don't use the same products all year long! In the summer I use products that encourage my curls. In the winter I use products that help me dry my hair quickly without losing volume.
All year long I do as much as possible to protect my hair color. I try to be sulphate and silicone free as much as possible, but I have not yet manged to be completely silicone free - I still reach for my Moroccan Oil Light
once in awhile! Also, since my scalp is oily I tend to use lighter weight products, nothing that will turn into an oil slick on my forehead!
A note about why I have SO MANY Bumble and bumble products on my list: I used to move. A lot. I have found the easiest way for me to find a stylist I like is to find a salon that sells Bumble and bumble. It might not be the smartest thing for me to do, but it is a good way to make sure the stylist with the scissors has at least heard of "continuing education." I also like that the Bumble and bumble products are meant to be layered, giving you customized control of your hair.
I use this in the spring/summer when I want to blow out my hair. I love that it does not wear my hair down - I can't feel it in my hair, but I can SEE the results! Last time I bought the smaller 2 oz. bottle that is only $8, and it has lasted me two summers.

Bumble and bumble Does It All Styling Spray $25 for 10 oz. $14 for 4 oz. |
What it is: A hair spray with strong yet flexible hold.
What it does: This spray provides hair with workable, brushable hold for bending, molding, twisting, or lifting hair while shielding it from hot tongs, and irons. It's also fabulous for finishing any look.
What else you need to know: Bumble and bumble hated smuggling in sprays from Europe, so they invented this one.
Ingredients: Alcohol Denat., Hydrofluorocarbon 152a, Butyl Ester Of Pvm/Ma Copolymer, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Honey, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Linoleamidopropyl Ethyldimonium Ethosulfate, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Aminomethyl Propanol, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Fragrance (Parfum)This has been my favorite hairspray for 10 YEARS. I have tried multiple times to find a replacement for this hairspray. I end up spending more money paying for new products that I hate that sit in my closet than I would if I just bought it when I needed it! I even tried those other "salon brands" they sell at Tar-get and Sephora (cough Fredric Fekkai, cough). I was SO HAPPY when this line was brought to Sephora, atleast I would be earning Beauty Insider perks! Bonus: It smells divine!.

I did not know until just now that this marketed as a "men's grooming" product! Who new! I tend to use it when my hair is long (past my shoulders). I really like to use this in the winter when my hair is dry, because it really cuts down the amount of time it takes to dry my hair (I have a LOT of hair). I bought my full size bottle five years ago and I haven't finished it yet - a little goes a LONG way! Note: I also only apply it to the ends of my hair..
