Today is the day of the Miss Universe pageant, held in Brazil. I may not believe in beauty pageants, but I do believe this is the prettiest OPI collection of 2011!

OPI It's My Year is flat out STUNNING! It is a puple jelly based packed with gold foil. A sister to OPI Rally Pink, but much, much prettier!

| OPI Crown Me Already (over It's My Year) |
OPI Crown Me Already is a silver hex glitter packed with tiny silver glitter. Unlike some glitter polishes, I had no trouble getting this out of the bottle. This is one coat over It's My Year.

| OPI Swimsuit... Nailed It! |
OPI Swimsuit... Nailed It! is a gorgeous bright blue polish. It is a blue jelly base packed with blue glitter. I loved it so much I wore it for three days. But be warned, it stained my nails.

| OPI Congeniality is my Middle Name |
OPI Miss Congeniality is the hardest to capture in a picture. It is a berry wine base with magenta sparkles. It was easy to control, as long as you don't put too much on your brush. While similar to a few OPI's of the past, it is actually unique (see comparison's here).
Overall Miss Universe is a stunning collection. I prefer the smaller OPI collections, and this is the first time since the OPI Shrek Collection that I have liked each and every color. Sometimes polishes only look good as part of a collection, but these four stand on their own.
These polishes were kindly lent to me by OPI before I had to send them on to their rightful owner. You better believe I will hunt them down for myself!
