I have a secret - I never liked Merry Midnight when it first came out. I just don’t think it looked alone. I only liked it layered over a darker shade!
So the question is, will I like Orly Fowl Play better, or is it just another dupe?
The first coat tells us that the base of Orly Fowl Play is much deeper than OPI Merry Midnight. I already like the Orly better!
The second coat shows that the mix of glitter and flakies is more dense in the OPI as well, especially the blue glitter. Hmm. Not loving that blue glitter.
Overall, the Orly Fowl Play is a beefed up version of OPI Merry Midnight, and it is a great replacement for your Merry Midnight Lemming. Do You need both? Well, duh, unless you already have a backup of Merry Midnight!
