As I mentioned when I received the press images for this polish, there are tons of Deborah Lippmann Happy Brithday dupes out there. I never bought any of them, because I had the original and didn’t see the point. Until now!
Not only is FingerPaints Fun-Fetti easier to apply, it covers better too! In the pictures below I used two coats of Happy Birthday but only one coat of Fun-Fetti. Remember, each image is clickable!
Here is the breakdown, at least to my eyes. FingerPaints retail for $4.99, while Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday retails for $18. FingerPaints Fun-Fetti is much denser, and the hex glitter includes a few colors not found in Lippmann Happy Birthday: blue and red. They both include silver, gold, magenta, teal, and green hex glitter. The microglitter is much smaller in the FingerPaints, and again is more dense.
I am glad I never bought any of the other dupes. I really like FingerPaints Fun-Fetti, and my Lippmann Happy Birthday will not be reached for as often.
