Color Club Blossoming is a collection of typical crèmes with an interesting glass-like flakie topcoat.  Diamond Drops is not what I would call a traditional flakie, rather it appears like pieces of broken holographic glass shards on your nails!

Let’s start out with the most interesting polish:  Blue-Ming.  I think of this as much more green than blue.  It’s a very interesting, almost neon shade.  Very bright and in your face!

My favorite polish is Hydrangea Kiss.  I L♥VE Blue Hydrangeas!  This polish is very very close to China Glaze Electric Beat (comparison post coming soon!).

Blushing Rose.  Not my favorite.  I am not a fan of this shade of pink, and it was still kind of uneven after three coats.

Sweatpea and Lavendarling are shades we have seen before, but I really liked the formula on both of them.  Plus, you can never have too many medium purples, right?  (Think Orly Charged Up, OPI Funky Dunkey, etc.)

Sinful Cinderella and Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air

Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air over Sinful Cinderella

Pin ItDid you watch The Voice last night?  I am totally obsessed with this show!  I started watching it last year.  It's something DH and I watch together, so that certainly makes it special too!

I came up with this mani last night while I was watching the voice, so it is my official "NOTD" today.  I was just planning on wearing Sinful Cinderella by itself, but the base color of Cinderella reminded e of something...  Deborah Lippmann's Glitter in the Air!  I did just one coat, and I loved that you could still see the beautiful pink shimmer in Cinderella peaking through!

Sinful Cinderella

Isn't Cinderella gorgeous on its own?  Have you bought it yet?  And don't forget, if you don't want to spend the money on Deborah Lippmann's Glitter in the Air, you can always buy Revlon Whimsical (see swatches on GlitterGlossGarbage and Nouveau Cheap)!

Max Factor FANTASY FIRE!

Max Factor Fantasy Fire (over Barry M Indigo) 3Max Factor Fantasy Fire (over Barry M Indigo) 8

I feel like I haven’t done this polish justice, but I am going to share this post with you anyways!  Max Factor Fantasy Fire is taking the world by storm.  It’s only available where Max Factor is sold, namely the UK.  The prices for this polish on eBay are RIDICULOUS, it is going for almost as much Clarins 230 “aka Unicorn Pee.”  Sadly, I do not own Unicorn Pee, though you can see swatches of it here and here

Back to Fantasy Fire.  In the UK it is going for £3.99, which, depending on the exchange rate, it about $6.25!  So please, don’t encourage the evil sellers on eBay, do what I did and find a UK swap buddy!

I’ll shut up now.  Please enjoy these pictures of Fantasy Fire over Barry M Indigo!

Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams - Swatches and Review

The moment I saw Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams on Jen of The PolishAholic I knew I had to have it!  Especially when she said those magic words, "FREE SHIPPING."  I jumped on the HSN website and placed my order on the night of the 16th... and I received it on the 21st, which isn't too bad considering the holiday weekend!  It was my first purchase from HSN, but I do not think it will be my last.

So back to the polish!  Sweet Dreams is a gorgeous fuchsia jelly packed tight with mylar flakies.  You know a pink polish has to be very special for me to buy it - and this one is!  As Jen described, it was a little gooey coming out of the bottle, but actually applied very nicely.  As you can tell from the pictures above, the color shift of the flakies is easier to see on a cloudy day.  It's also very apparent inside under artificial lighting.  I love polishes like this on a rainy day - so much fun to look at!

I love Deborah Lippmann polishes.  I don't buy every single one that comes out, but I think this one was well worth the $16!  I usually buy my Lippmann's from Beauty.com, so I checked to see if it was available there... it was, but for $18!  $2 more!  I also recently discovered that Von Maur (a small Nordstrom-like department store in the Midwest) carries Deborah Lippmann now too, although I didn't check to see if they had this shade yet.

Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed - Swatches and Review

Pin ItHow amazing is that bottle shot?  Toxic Seaweed is from the new "Let's Get Nekkid" collection from Cult Nails.  It is an amazing mishmash of glitter and flakies in a jelly base.

Here is how Maria described this shade:
This was a lab screw up that I loved, but of course had to make some changes to. We gave them a color and they missed the base, but then we added more glitter and brightened it up a bit and we had a Cult winner. I will tell you now, this has the same flake issue as Clairvoyant. So when this one sells out, it will not be coming back. This is truly a limited edition polish - completely out of my control. When it is gone, it is gone. So sad to just think about. But originally when I started Cult Nails, I wanted all colors to be limited edition and always have a rotating stock, so I guess I am getting some of that now. LOL! We are working on sourcing a different ingredient, but I can't make any promises so we are just playing it safe and calling it Limited Edition.

I was so happy when this polish arrived yesterday, I applied it directly over my current mani, Essie Topless and Barefoot.  I applied two coats, giving them an extra minute to dry in between, and topped it off with Revlon's Quick Dry Top Coat, my favorite top coat as of late.  It was completely smooth, no need for a special glitter tamer here!

Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed is still in stock, so hurry over to http://shop.cultnails.com and pick up yours before its too late!

I can't wait to try this on its own, as well as over other polishes!  What kind of layering combo's do think would work well?
