I was really looked forward to this collection, because I liked all of the “Kim” polishes in the first Kardashian Kolors collection… but I have to say I feel pretty let down. It really felt like a bridal collection. Most were three coats… one was even four (Nothing Kim-Pares to You).
Up and Kim-ing Pink is your standard bubblegum pink. Stellar Nicole formula, this was the only one that was two coats!
Kim Konfidential is a yellow-tinged nude. If OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? was too cool or too beige for you, then Kim Konfidential may be perfect for you.
Lights, Kim-era, Action! is a gorgeous white shimmer with a green flash that I could not seem to capture on camera.
Nothing Kim-pares to Blue was my favorite of the bunch, but it was crazy sheer. Here I have built it up to four coats. The flash that I used made this look a little brighter than it is, in real life it has more of a dusty quality (but not near as dusty as the OPI Holland Blues).
Other's Pale by Kim-Parison was a nice, squishy white. It only took three coats to build it up to opacity.
Here Kim's the Sun is a sparse, iridescent glitter. In the picture above I used just one coat.
Wel-Kim to My World will be available April 2012 for $7.99 each at retailers including CVS, Duane Reade, Harmon, Sears, ULTA and Wegmans. In Canada, this line will be available for $10.99 each at Jean Coutu, Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart.
