I have wanted to try Dare To Wear polishes for three years, so I am very excited to share them with you! Today I am sharing Part One of the Dare To Wear Love Dream collection consisting of 3 crème polishes and 3 shimmer polishes. Before we get into the polishes, let’s discuss the brand itself. Dare To Wear is a line of nail lacquer made by LeChat Nail Care Products, a California based company that both manufactures polishes and educates nail technicians. Dare To Wear does not contain DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. They are very well known for their Back to Basics collection and their most recent glitter collections, Dollhouse and Disco Tech. LeChat also makes a line of Perfect Match Soak-Off Gel Polish which I will review for you at a later date!
Always and Forever is an on-trend dusty lilac shade. I can’t get enough of these colors! The formula was thick, but in a good way. I only needed one coat, AND it self-leveled!
Moon River is LeChat’s version of Tiffany Blue (but MUCH brighter and more vibrant, IMO). I really liked the formula on this polish… you could go back over wet polish and there was NO CUTICLE DRAG. Meaning if you didn’t have enough polish on you brush the first time, you could go back over it immediately and it didn’t create ANY bald spots! This is quite impressive, people! The polish dried slightly matte which leads me to believe that it has neon pigment in it. I topped it off with a coat of Seche Vite for this picture.
My Sweet Desire - I was prepared NOT to like this one.. and boy was I WRONG! So easy to apply, perfect in two coats, and the burnt-orange/coral color made my pale white skin look alive and almost tan!
