butter LONDON recently released their Lillibet’s Jubilee nail lacquer to honour the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne. When I first applied Lillibet's Jubilee I thought it was just a purple-tinged silver foil, but in reality it is a chrome! I took this picture at 6:30pm on a cloudy day - and look how much light is reflecting off my nails! Just a few hours before that I was driving home in my car through a rainstorm, and I kept getting distracted by my nails!
A few tips for this polish. Use a ridge-filling basecoat first, or any defects in your nail bed will be easy to spot (I used butter LONDON Nail Foundation). This polish only requires two coats, but you want to apply them in short, even strokes without overlapping. As it is a chrome polish it naturally dried very quickly (I used butter LONDON Hardware Quick Dry Topcoat).
I will admit that I didn't have high hopes for this polish, but after wearing it all day I know its a winner. Even the cashier at Petco commented on how shiny my nails were!
You can find butter LONDON Lillibet's Jubilee is now available at Beauty.com, Nordstrom.com and butter LONDON's website.
