Color Club Take Wing is a rainbow of color for the summer. The formula applies like a jelly glass fleck, but instead of glass fleck it’s foil shimmer. For all shades I used three coats, though a few would have been ok with two.Daisy Does It is a bright sunshine yellow. Fly With Me is a shimmering lime green. I really wanted to like both of them, but I don’t think they go well with my skin tone!
Metamorphosis in the bottle it appears to be a green based teal with a purple flash… and this time it appears on the nail! Unfortunately it was not so easy to catch on camera. It is much more foil-y and less jelly-ish than some of the other shades.
Sky High is another duochrome, this one bright blue that shifts to purple. This one is easily apparent on the nails in indirect light, but not on camera. It didn’t stain my nails blue, but it did stain the skin around my fingers!
Sparkle and Soar - orange with gold foil. I rarely wear orange polish, it does spice up a cute summer outfit! The gold in this makes it less orange, and more flashy!
Wing Fling - in the bottle it appears to be magenta with an orange flash. On the nail you can’t see the orange flash, but it does have a lot of shimmery goodness!
Overall I love this as a summer collection… none of the shades are what I would call original, but they are happy and fun! Not to mention that they aren’t neon… believe me I am excited for neon, but I am glad that not every single brand jumped on that bandwagon! What about you?
