Sonia Kashuk Summer 2012 Nail Polishes - Swatches, Review and Target Gift Card Giveaway!

Believe it or not, this is the first time I have ever tried Sonia Kashuk polishes, but it is certainly not my first Sonia Kashuk purchase! I have been obsessed with her brushes and her makeup bags since the line debuted at Target. So I am very excited to have received three new polishes from Sonia Kashuk’s line to review, which will be available exclusively at Target this summer.
First up is Tango Mango, which is perfectly on trend since the Pantone color of the year is Tangerine Tango! It is a silky formula that applies like a dream. I applied three coats and it dried so shiny and smooth that it looked like plastic! The best part was that it was removed easily with no staining whatsoever.
Next up is Golden Ticket. Before I show you the polish, I just have to tell you that the name Golden Ticket cracks me up! It makes me want a Willy Wonka candy bar! When you buy Golden Ticket at Target, don’t blame me if you end up with a fancy chocolate bar too.
Back to the polish! I love metallic for summer! Golden Ticket is not simply gold, it is gold foil with silver foil mixed throughout. It softens the overall appearance and prevents the gold from turning to yellow on me. Like most foils, it dried very quickly. It looked good after two coats, but I did three just to be safe.

I can’t wait to wear Golden Ticket as a pedi this summer. There is nothing better to me than gold toes and brown leather sandals!
It also works well as a stamping polish when you are going for a more delicate, more sophisticated look. Here I used it with the M69 plate, and I love the combination of gold and orange!
Fairy Princess is a soft mint with an incredible blue shimmer. How gorgeous does it look in the bottle! The shimmer is apparent on the nail when applied, but unfortunately my camera wasn’t able to capture how pretty it is.
The polish was way more pigmented than I thought it would be, but be sure to allow time between coats to prevent air bubbles. I loved how original this polish is; I have nothing quite like it.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with my first experience with Sonia Kashuk Nail Colour. The colors are fun and right on trend. If you have never tried a mint polish before, now is the time to do it! And finding a B3F polish for less than $5? Yes, please!
