The first coat very sheer, as the fomula is comprised of green and blue microglitter suspended in a blue jelly base. I applied four coats to reach what you see above, but I probably could have stopped at three. butter LONDON describes Bluey as "a slightly metallic, dark peacock blue nail lacquer that’s perfect for fashionable birds" and I would agree that the overall effect is a perfect peacock teal. Oh, and the shrinkage you see on my tips? Not Bluey's fault. I should have known the sheer jelly + microglitter formula would not have played well with Seche Vite. Damn you, SV!
I purchased Bluey on Coterie, but you can find it here.
