Pretty Serious Cosmetics In The Night collection ♥ Dream Delight and Nightopia ♥ Swatches and Review

When Kaz asked me if I wanted to review a few polishes from her In The Night Collection, I may have jumped for joy like a little girl.  That’s because I loved her first collection so much!  She knows me well, because she sent me the two I would have bought myself.  Let’s take a look!

Pretty Serious Dream Delight Pretty Serious Dream DelightPretty Serious Dream Delight

Pin ItDream Delight is a dense silver and dark grey micro glitter with intermittent large round holographic glitter.  This has amazing dimension!  I have been told it is similar to butter LONDON Gobsmacked, but I don’t own that one to do a comparison.  To me it does appear lighter than Gobsmacked, which you can see here on Perilously Pale.

Nightopia is my kinda polish.  I love these shimmery peacock colors that can’t decide if they are blue or green!  In fact I love this color so much that I have a few similar polishes to compare it to - Bloom Bianca (a very nice but rather expensive Australian polish) and Rimmel Mania (long discontinued and VHTF).   Let’s take a closer look:

Pretty Serious vs Rimmel vs Bloom 2Pretty Serious vs Rimmel vs Bloom

Bloom Bianca  is a light teal blue base with soft green shimmer.  Pretty Serious Nightopia  light teal blue base with more  obvious green shimmer than Bloom Bianca.  Rimmel Mania has a deeper teal blue base with the same obvious green shimmer as Pretty Serious Nightopia.

I apologize if these pictures don’t show it, but these polishes are not dupes.  Pretty Serious Nightopia is closest to Bloom Bianca, but the green shimmer has so much more life!  Now this doesn’t mean that Nightopia won’t kill your lemming for Rimmel Mania or Bloom Bianca… in my opinion it’s a prettier and less expensive option!

As of right now, there are a total of THREE Pretty Serious collections, plus one LE polish coming out!

Check out Scrangie for a full review of this collection, there are six shades in all.  I really want Elliot and Into Dreams as well!

Monster Mash will be released on October 10th, just in time for Halloween!  Check out swatches on Kaz’s blog here.

Emma Louise is a limited edition polish that will also be released on October 10th.  Only 500 bottles will be made, and $5.00 of each sale will be donated to Cancer research.  Check out bottle pics and swatches here.

Pretty Serious polishes retail for $9.95 and shipping to the US or UK is a flat rate of $9.95.  I have no idea how Kaz can afford to have such a low shipping rate, but I think it’s great!  If you haven’t tried Pretty Serious polishes yet, head over to http://www.pretty-serious.com/ right now!
