What’s in my Shower? DermOrganic!

If you read my Makeup Wars:  Beauty Resolutions post, then you know that one of my Beauty Resolutions is NOT TO BUY MORE SHAMPOO!  I have more shampoo than any one person could need - and I wash my hair everyday!  I am sent quite a few shampoos to review, and usually after I use them long enough they are pulled from my shower to make room for my beloved Kenra Platinum Shampoo and Conditioner for Fine Hair - unless it’s Summer, then it’s my L’Oreal Everpure Cleansing Conditioner.  So what brand made it past the “review” stage and permanently displaced my beloved Kenra products?  DermOrganic!

Daily Conditioning Shampoo

What They Say:

What I Say:

This is the first sulphate-free shampoo I have ever used that truly lathers!  A little goes a long way.  It makes my easily weighed down hair shiny and bouncy.  After a few weeks of using this shampoo I noticed that my oily root where significantly lessened… I can actually go more than 24 hours without washing my hair!

Daily Moisturizing Conditioner

What They Say:

What I Say:

Finally, a conditioner without silicone that actually soothes my stressed out wavy tresses!  I love how clean it rinses and it definitely doesn’t weigh my hair down.  Most silicone free conditioners leave my hair prone to knots, but with this conditioner I am tangle free!

Masque Hair Repair

What They Say:

DermOrganic Masque Hair Repair is rich in rice amino acids that replicate the keratin structure of human hair. Repairs damage, seals the cuticle, neutralizes pH, and restores resilience to salon-treated hair. Made without silicone, propylene glycol or glycerin, use as often as desired for silky smooth hair without fear of buildup.  It has unique properties that won't build-up or over-proteinize hair, making it safe for everyday use.
Directions: For at home care, apply to clean wet hair from roots to ends. Leave on for approximately 1 minute or longer as needed to repair. Rinse. Use at least two times weekly, safe to use daily.
For an in-salon deep masque treatment, apply to clean damp hair. Cover and place under heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Cool for 3 to 5 minutes, then rinse.

What I Say:

I almost love this more than the conditioner, and thanks to the fact that it doesn’t “over-protenize” hair (who knew that was a word?) I can use it as often as I want!  I like to use it every two-three times I was my hair, leaving it on for as long as it takes to shave my legs.  I definitely can see change in the elasticity of my hair - it’s so much easier to straiten and it doesn’t break as easily!
I skipped one of the biggest reasons I love DermOrganic - the Argan Oil!  I have always loved it for my skin (pure Argan Oil does wonders for my cuticles) but found it too oily for my hair… DermOrganic has managed to use just enough Argan Oil to get all of the benefits but none of the side effects!  My hair truly feels more healthy.  I have always had hair that has grown fast, and now I seem to lose less hair when I brush it.  If I keep using it I may turn into a lioness!
