Need some more Bond in your life?  OPI is releasing six new Liquid Sands polishes, all inspired by Bond Girls!

“The six shades are named after some of the most iconic – and my favorite – Bond girls, including: Solitaire, Pussy Galore, Tiffany Case, Vesper, Honey Ryder and Jinx,” adds Weiss-Fischmann. “Worn without top coat, these Liquid Sand lacquers give nails a pebbled, matte finish worthy of the captivating ‘Bond Girls’ name.”

Bond Girls by OPI features six Liquid Sand nail lacquers:

NLM49_Solitare

Solitaire - This diamond-sparkling white is totally engaging.

NLM50_PussyGalore

Pussy Galore - This light feminine pink has the purrrfect amount of shimmer.

NLM51_TiffanyCase

Tiffany Case - A classic light blue worth investigating.

NLM52_Vesper

Vesper - A mysterious and intriguing deep purple.

NLM53_HoneyRyder

Honey Ryder - Take a ryde on the wild side in this shimmery gold.

NLM54_Jinx

Hard Candy Crystal Confetti ♥ Swatches and Review

Hard Candy Crystal Confetti
Hard Candy recently released five new polish lines that are available exclusively at Walmart and retail for $3.97 each!  Each line includes 9 polishes for a total of 45 new polishes!

If you missed my first two posts, I have already review the Candy Sprinkles and Glitterazi lines, you can see them here and here.

The next line I have to show you is called Crystal Confetti.  It consists of nine glitter polishes that have a variety of glitter shapes and base colors.  I received four to review:  Hip Hip Hooray, Fireworks, Celebrate Sequins and Fun N’ Festive.  The polishes I did not receive were Birthday Bash, Party Central, Black Tie Optional, Jubilee and Masquerade.

Hard Candy Hip Hip Hooray over Lil LilacHard Candy Fireworks over Bitty Blue

Hip Hip Hooray has a lilac tinted base and it is filled with medium sized black and silver hex glitter, small blue and pink hex glitter, and purple micro glitter.  Here I have layered one coat of Hip Hip Hooray over three coats of Lil Lilac.  I love the combination of pink, purple and blue with the silver and black!

Fireworks has a pink tined based and it is filled with medium sized red hex glitter, small blue hex glitter, red micro glitter and red “eyelash” glitter.  The “eyelash” glitter is a bendy bar glitter that does not lay completely flat on the nail.  Here I layered one coat of Fireworks over three coats of Bitty Blue

Hard Candy Celebrate Sequins over Pure Ice Kiss Me HereHard Candy Fun N Festive

Celebrate Sequins has a clear base and it is filled with medium silver holographic hex glitter, small square silver holographic glitter, and silver holographic micro glitter.  Basically it’s a disco ball for your nails!  Here I have layered it over two coats my of Pure Ice Kiss Me Here, which is another polish that is available at Walmart!  I love the combination of the different shapes of holographic glitter, especially layered over a smooth crème polish!

Fun N’ Festive has a murky green base and it is filled with large gold hex glitter, medium black hex glitter, small orange hex glitter and green micro glitter.  Here I wore three coats of this polish on its own.  I thought this would be my favorite, but I ended up not liking it at all!  It looks like a lumpy green swamp on my nails.

Here’s another picture of Celebrate Sequins to show you how awesome the holographic glitter is!

The Crystal Confetti polishes are available now in stores and “soon” on Walmart’s website (currently listed as Out Of Stock).

Have you picked up any polishes from the Crystal Confetti line?  What do you think about the “eyelash” glitter?

Hard Candy Itsy Glitzy ♥ Swatches and Review

Itsy Glitzy

Hard Candy recently released five new polish lines that are available exclusively at Walmart and retail for $3.97 each!  Each line includes 9 polishes for a total of 45 new polishes!

This next line I have to show you is called Itsy Glitzy.  It is comprised of nine “intense, illuminating and incandescent hues” - basically nine glittery shimmers!  I received four polishes to review:  Little Hottie, Lil Lilac, Pinch of Spice and Bitty Blue.  The polishes I did not receive are Little Bo Pink, Piece of Papaya, Shot of Lemon, Teeny Greeny and Pee Wee Purple.  I love the names, aren’t they cute?

Hard Candy Little HottieHard Candy Lil Lilac
Hard Candy Pinch of SpiceHard Candy Bitty Blue

I apologize for the “summary” review, but I am short on time tonight!  I used three coats for each polish, they were easy to apply and although they appeared sheer under the artificial light, in natural light there was no VNL (Visible Nail Line).  These shades are perfect for summer, I can easily see them on my toes in the future!

Have you picked up any of these shades?  Do you have a favorite from the Itsy Glitzy line?

New butter LONDON + goop Collections

butter LONDON is honored to be collaborating a second time with lifestyle website goop to bring four new must-have lacquer sets – available for purchase now at goop.com.

Starkers Trio ($40): This trio of nude lacquers covers the spectrum from light to dark, depending on your mood. The subtle shades – Shandy, Crumpet, Tea & Toast – make for a cool, monochrome look that perfectly complements any outfit, day or night. The Starkers Collection was created with three hues to blend with every skin tone, with the nude nail appearing effortless, luxe and completely purposeful.

The Stones Trio ($40): This jewel-toned trio of nail lacquers makes for the perfect set of colours on a wintry night out. The gemtone-inspired offering includes a mildly metallic navy, Big Smoke, a soft, blue-green with a tiny undercurrent of gold, Thames, and a proper royal-purple, HRH, that even the Queen would approve of.

Top and Tails Nail Set ($28): The before and after to any at-home manicure should start and finish with butter LONDON’s Nail Foundation Flawless Base Coat pre and Hardware P.D. Quick Topcoat post lacquer. Nail Foundation is the BB Cream of nail treatments acting as a cover-up, or makeup, for your nails. Imperfections are hidden, ridges are smoothed, and nails are left perfectly primed for polish. P.D. Quick Topcoat is a necessity for long-lasting manicures as it not only applies high shine and a smooth finish, but also protects the layers of colour beneath it.

Candy Coated Trio ($40): Looking forward to warm weather, goop chose this set of creamy pastel colours: Fruit Machine (pink), Jasper (yellow) and Fiver (green). Inspired by the charming colours and silhouettes of the 50’s era, pastels are on the horizon for spring.

WHERE TO BUY: Available for purchase as part of the butter LONDON for goop collection on goop.com
AVAILABILITY: US only, while supplies last
