This summer Barielle brings us a quint of 5 amazing crèmes. I have always thought that Barielle had an awesome formula, but this collection takes the cake! The formula is very pigmented and oh so glossy that I didn’t even use top coat (except for one polish). All you have to do is get enough polish on the brush, and it does the rest!
High Marks Purple is described as “neon purple” by the Barielle website, but to me it’s not neon at all! More of a deep fuchsia tinged with wine.
Smarty Pants Pink is an amazingly pigmented bubble gum pink.
Strait A Coral is a outrageously gorgeous shade that is practically a one-coat wonder! I did two since I was taking pictures, but I honestly could have gotten away with one.
Head of the Class Green is much more green than it appears on camera. In fact, I would call it Pantone Emerald with a kick!
Magna Cum Laude Turquoise is the ONLY shade with a tricky formula. It has A LOT of neon pigment in it, and wasn’t shiny without topcoat. It did required 3 coats to even out, but it’s so bright and fabulous that it’s worth it!
I did get slight staining from Head of the Class Green and Magna Cum Laude Turquoise, so be sure to double up your basecoat when applying, and to liberally apply hand cream before removing these polishes to prevent your skin from being stained!
Which is your favorite shade? Mine is definitely Strait A Coral!
