butter LONDON Pitter Patter was recently released in honor of the exciting news of a royal bun in Princess Kate’s oven.  I wanted to share this with you because I think Pitter Patter is my new favorite purple polish!

From butter LONDON’s website:
This opaque aubergine shimmer is a limited edition lacquer created for the royal baby-to-be! An old colloquialism often used as a nudge by aging mums hoping for new grandbabies. “Will we hear the pitter patter of little feet soon?”  Congrats, Will & Kate! (US only)

I think the reason I am in love with this polish is pretty clear. In indirect light it looks like a lovely, vampy purple, but take it outside in the sun and WHAM!  You are hit with all this amazing shimmer!  It doesn’t hurt that the formula is perfection.  Only two coats, I didn’t need to do ANY cleanup, and it lasted for days!

I definitely think it helped that I used the butter LONDON Nail Foundation and Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat.  For some reason when I initially received the two of them to review, I didn’t find them that interesting.  But the more I use them (and I have been using the Foundation A LOT lately) the more I like them!  I reach for them almost every time I do my nails now!

You can also pick up Pitter Patter as part of a trio called The Royals, which features No More Waity, Katie and Lillibet’s Jubilee.  I don’t own NMWK but you can see swatches of Lillibet’s Jubilee here.  If you don’t own any of these shades, picking all three up for $39 is a steal!  The trio is Limited Edition, so pick it up while you can!

Are you digging this shade of purple?
Have you found any new favorites in your stash like I did?
