Inspired by Tinker Bell, Nicole by OPI has released 6 polishes in the Nicole by OPI Tink Collection, available exclusively select at Walgreens for $7.99 each. I received 4 of the 6 polishes to share with you today.
I held off reviewing these in the hopes that I would find the other two polishes at my local Walgreens, but it seems that my particular Walgreen’s will not be receiving them! The two shades I did not receive were Pixie Glitter and How Fairy Nice of You, but you can check out my friend Jen’s swatches of them here. I wouldn’t mind tracking down Pixie Glitter because it has moons!
The formula on these were all very similar. I will talk more about the formula at the end of this post!
Tink’s in the Pink is a creamy fuchsia.
Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary is a creamy tangerine.
Sweet on Pete is a creamy lime.
Half-Charming/Half-Alarming is a creamy coral.
All four of these polishes shared a sheer, creamy formula. I wouldn’t necessarily call them “crelly’s” (jelly crèmes) or Sorbet’s (which is a term OPI used a few Summers ago for squishy crèmes). Instead they are just sheer yet pigmented crèmes.
When applying the first coat it is very sheer, which made me fear these would all be three-coaters, but I am happy to report only two coats were needed for every shade! In fact, I really liked this formula, it was so easy to apply and SO SHINY!
Which shade is calling your name?
