China Glaze Autumn Nights - Part One ♥ Swatches & Review

China Glaze Autumn Nights The Shimmers

I am splitting the China Glaze Autumn Nights collections into two parts for you, the ones I loved and the ones I didn’t like so much.  I am showing you the latter today, the shimmers and the frosts.

The formula on the shimmers was definitely challenging.  It was thin and runny, and could definitely flood your cuticles if you loaded too much polish on the brush.  The interesting thing was that the frosts had a much better formula.  They were much easier to apply - as long as you don’t mind brush strokes.

Of the six polishes in this half of the collection, I would recommend both Don’t Make Me Wine and Red-y & Willing, as they both have the “lit from within” glow.  I wanted to like Scandalous Shenanigans, but it stained slightly after only being on my nails for a few minutes.  I normally would love Tongue & Chic, but I was so disappointed in the formula that I can’t even say I liked it.

I promise that I won’t be a Debbie Downer in the second half of this review!
