This fall OPI is bringing us 15 new polishes for their San Francisco collection! 6 shimmers, 6 crèmes, and 3 Liquid Sand polishes. I have already covered the Shimmers, and today I have the Crèmes for you! To avoid repeating myself, the cream formula was thin, but in a good way, on all of these colors, and very shiny!!!
Keeping Suzi at Bay is a gorgeous, smooth blue crème. I have a lot of cobalt blues, but I don’t have many that are this deeper shade. It’s 1 or 2 shades lighter than RBL Dead Calm. Shown here with two coats.
Incognito in Sausalito is a deep inky blue that looks black in most lights. It’s one or two shades lighter than butter LONDON Mariner. The formula was so pigmented that it only needed one coat!
In the Cable Car-Poole Lane is a deep wine crème. It’s gorgeous, but OPI makes so many great polishes in this shade and In the Cable Car-Poole lane isn’t one of them! The formula was difficult - patchy and required three coats.
Lost on Lombard is a very pigmented red crème. OPI always makes great crèmes, but be careful not too load too much polish on your brush or the thin formula will flood your cuticles. Shown here with 2 coats.
First Date at the Golden Gate is a brighter, more orange-based red than Lost on Lombard. What I said for Lost on Lombard applies to First Date at the Golden Gate as well - be careful not to flood your cuticles. Shown here with 3 coats. I was also confused why this shade wasn’t truly orange, like the Golden Gate Bridge.
A-Piers to be Tan is a weird poopy brown shade, one of those shades that is so ugly that you can’t help be to be drawn to it! It reminds me A LOT of OPI & Apple Pie (long discontinued) but less orange.
Which half of the collection are you more drawn to - the Shimmers or the The Crèmes? And don’t forget, we still have the Liquid Sands!
