How To Clean Up Stamping with a Lint Roller

How To Clean Up Stamping with a Lint Roller

Have you heard about using a lint roller to clean up your stamper when you are doing your nails?  I came across this idea on Pinterest, the original source of the pin was Wacky Laki, and even she credited someone else!

The first time I tried it, it worked like a charm!  So much easier than cleaning the stamper with pure acetone every time.  Then I looked at my nails…  I often use the China Glaze Romantiques and they dry super fast.  See how the polish is already lifting up around my nail beds?

So I gently worked the lint roller around my cuticles and sides of my nails... And voila!  Almost perfectly cleaned up skin, no acetone required!  As you can see below, it removed all of the polish from my skin like magic!

By the way, the plate I am using is Konad M94, which I received from Nail Polish Canada.  The lint roller is from the travel section at Target.  It’s MUCH easier to use a travel size lint roller than a full sized one!  The base color is Keeping Suzi at Bay, from the OPI San Francisco collection.

Does anyone else already do this?  Do you have any other creative solutions for cleaning up after stamping?

Update:  I believe I have found the original source.  I love her idea for using the roller to completely remove a stamp that you have messed up!
