Are you read for another Holiday collection? China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze is a large collection, featuring foils, shimmers, glitters, some snow and a color changing top coat! See my thoughts and enter for a chance to win the entire collection after the jump!
So Blue Without You is a gorgeous bright blue shimmery foil. I love how this one pops! Be sure to wear this over a top coat, when I swatched it on my bare nails is stained slightly (but came off easily). Two coats.
Bells Will Be Blinging is a fun glitter bomb, comprised of silver glitter, blue microglitter, and silver holographic bar glitter. I am not the type of person who runs to pick up bar glitters, but this one is special! The holographic bar glitter is dazzling! I love this and can't wait to wear it again. Shown here as one coat over So Blue Without You.
Just Be-Claws is "the" Christmas red shimmer. It had a perfect formula that only needed "1.5" coats. But why call is Be-Claws instead of Be-Claus? Hmmm...
Be Merry, Be Bright is a fun glitter-topper comprised with two sizes of blurple and red glitter. Very fun, and turns the typical holiday red into party nails! Shown here as one coat over Just Be-Claws.
Mingle With Kringle is a shimmery gold mixed with silver and deep gold, almost amber, foil particles. It's not your traditional gold, the foil particles give it amazing depth! Two coats.
Your Present Required is a fun "Happy Birthday" type glitter comprised of two sizes of purple, gold, blue, green and white glitter. The white glitter is so fun! I love how festive it is, but even more I love that it's not strictly a Christmas glitter - you can wear this one any time of year! Shown here as 1 coat over Mingle with Kringle.
Santa Red My List is a foil, but it isn't red it's pink! More like a magenta red! Good formula, two coats.
Elfin’ Around is an intensely pigmented orange-leaning red foil. The formula was perfect - not too thick, not too thin, and easy to control. It covered in nearly one coat!
Put A Bow On It is the first of three mircoglitters. It is comprised of an even mix of purple and magenta glitters, which gives it a lot of depth, like a jewel! This polish required three coats, but they were worth it! I love these types of glitters, and luckily there are two more!
All Wrapped Up is a blue microglitter than leans purple, with some grey mixed in. This one was more dense than Put A Bow On It and only required two coats. Winner!
This Is Tree-Mendous is a amazing mix of green, gold and light green microglitter. A christmas tree for your nails! Love, love, love this! I believe I used three coats.
There’s Snow One Like You is the "special" polish that you either love or hate. It's designed to look like fake snow! It is very interesting to apply - hard to describe, almost "bubbly." And you definitely need to wait a few minutes between coats. I had to "dab" on the second coat to cover any bald spots. I am not sure I would be able to wear this as a full manicure, but I think it would make a fun accent nail!
Travel In Color is the special color shifting top coat. It's so fun! Here I used it over two other China Glaze shades, Jolly Holly (Holiday 2010) and Pelican Gray. I love it both ways, but I especially love it over Pelican Gray! It is supposed to look fabulous over Just Be-Claws too!
Overall I love this collection for the holidays. I am not a huge red fan (how many times have I told you that?) but the glitters are just fabulous! My must haves are So Blue Without You, Bells Will Be Blinging, Your Present Required, Put A Bow On It, All Wrapped Up, This is Tree-mendous and Travel In Color. That's a lot of must haves, but I promise you will kick yourself if you miss them!
