Happy Blue Year is a jelly lovers dream. It is a blue jelly base filled with silver hex glitter and red and silver microglitter. Because this is a true jelly polish, I needed three coats to achieve the look above. This polish is for jelly lovers, if you don’t like true jellies I would layer it over a blue crème base.
Secrets is a gorgeous scattered holo purple crème. II f you love purple, or if you love scattered holo’s, you need this polish! The formula was perfect – two coats with no cleanup needed.
Who Needs Diamonds? may be my favorite new gold glitter topper. There are so many sizes of gold and gold holographic glitter, which gives the polish so much dimension when applied! I love it here over Secrets. Only one coat needed!
Snow Sprinkles is a milky glitter – a white base filled with small blue and red glitter… and red stars! I had no trouble applying this polish – no “dabbing” required! Just make sure to leave a little extra time between coats. I love this one, it makes me so happy to look at it!
Frigid Digits is a teal and white glitterbomb of goodness. It has both white square glitter and white bar glitter mixed in with the teal. I love it, especially over a similar colored base (this is Formula X by Sephora Unmistakable from The Twenty Two set). You can see it worn alone here.
Evergreen is a gorgeous green that I did not do justice in these pictures. It’s interesting because the base is almost an olive green and it is filled with bright emerald green sparkle. The overall effect is the forest green (Evergreen!) that you see above.
Sleigh Bells Bling is the true “Christmas” polish of the bunch. It is comprised of a lot of small green microglitter with some larger red and green glitter and green bar glitter! I only used one coat over Evergreen, and you can see how dense it was! When worn alone, you can see there are even more colors hiding in there!
Merry Christmas Eve! I couldn’t think of a better Christmas-y post to share with you than my favorite Christmas collection of this year – The Hungry Asian’s 2013 Holiday collection! You may recognize the picture above because I used it in my Makeup Wars Favorite Indies post, where I declared The Hungry Asian to be my favorite hand-mixed Indie polish. One of the things I love about this collection is that most of the colors can be worn year-round, not just during the Holidays.

You can purchase The Hungry Asian’s polishes on Etsy. All of the polishes are available full size ($9.25), or in adorable mini bottles ($4.50). She is taking a well deserved holiday break, but you can still place and order and she will start processing orders on December 30th!
