I am kicking myself right now. I realized tonight I never shared my swatches of Essie On A Silver Platter with you, so I am doing it NOW before it’s too late! Essie On A Silver Platter was released as part of the Essie Encrusted Treasures collection, which was their holiday collection, separate from Shearling, Darling, which was their Winter 2013 collection.
Please note, all these pictures were taken indoors under my Ottlite. I prefer to take pictures of textured glitters outside on a sunny day while standing in the shade, to reduce the glare, but alas the weather didn't cooperate!
I purchased two polishes from this collection – Lots of Lux and On A Silver Platter. I love both of these polishes and declared that they were part of my Top 10 Glitters Of All Time (for now)! You can see my swatches of Lots of Lux here.
I probably never would have purchased Lots of Lux if I hadn’t gone to Target searching On A Silver Platter. It was perpetually sold out for me at Target but I eventually found it at ULTA. I was bummed though, because I have gotten used to the drugstore packaging with the names on the top of the bottles rather than the embossed “e.”
I am in love with On A Silver Platter's combo of sheer gold base and mesmerizing holographic blue glitter! Yes, it’s a texture, but I wore it with a top coat as I am prone to do!

On A Silver Platter should be on shelves and online for a short time, but hurry because I believe this collection is limited edition! It’s still online at Target, but appears to be sold out on ULTA’s site. OR I just found for a great price on Amazon. Contemplating a backup!
