Vera Wang Fall/Winter 2014

Vera Wang's Fall/Winter 2014 collection expressed a dark shimmery romance. Jin Soon Choi created a sophisticated and alluring nail to match the collections’ style and color scheme.
How-To Steps:

1. File and clean nails, removing all traces of polish and oil residue.
2. Use a base coat to protect nail; Jin used JINsoon Power Coat.
3. Apply two coats of JINsoon Mica.
4. Finish by applying a single coat of JINsoon Top Gloss.

Karen Walker Fall/Winter 2014

Karen Walker's Fall/Winter 2014 collection took inspiration from menswear and the working girl, with a nod to the Victorian era. Jin Soon Choi created an off-white nail to complement the blues, blacks and whites throughout the collection.
How-To Steps:

1. File and clean nails, removing all traces of polish and oil residue.
2. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat to prep the nails.
3. Apply two coats of JINsoon Kookie White.
4. Finish by applying a single coat of JINsoon Top Gloss.

Derek Lam Fall/Winter 2014

Inspired by simple nomadic silhouettes and rustic fabrications to create new sportswear, Derek Lam’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection uses bold color accents and a streetwear attitude in proportion and layering to create an energetic and modern point of view.  Jin Soon Choi created a simple and classic nail that beautifully complements the collection allowing the bold patterns and textures in the cloths to shine.
How-To Steps:

1. File and clean nails, removing all traces of polish.
2. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat to prep the nails.
3. To create warmth apply one coat of JINsoon Nostalgia.
4. Next, layer one coat of JINsoon Muse for a warm soft look.
5. Finish by applying a single coat of JINsoon Top Gloss.

Tibi Fall/Winter 2014

Tibi’s Fall/Winter ’14 collection took inspiration from “modern Amish”, referenced through the designer’s cozy textures, pops of warm color, pleats, tailored coats and hats. To complement the collection, Jin Soon Choi created a soft, earthy nail by layering a white polka dot topping over Nostalgia, one of her quintessential polishes.
How-To Steps:

1. File and clean nails, removing all traces of polish and oil residue.
2. Use a base coat to protect nail; Jin used JINsoon Power Coat.
3. Apply two coats of JINsoon Nostalgia.
4. Then layer a single coat of JINsoon Polka White (available March 2014).
5. Finish by applying a single coat of JINsoon Top Gloss.

Tess Giberson Fall/Winter 2014

Tess Giberson's Fall/Winter 2014 collection is based on the transference of classic rugged American sportswear into contemporary, effortless, luxurious style. Manicurist Jin Soon Choi used this same idea and created a modern interpretation of the classic French using a dark gray/metallic black nail polish (from her upcoming JINsoon Fall/Winter 2014 Tess Giberson Collection) and JINsoon Kookie White.
