This week’s Makeup Wars topics is our Favorite Foundations. For once, I don’t have a long list! I tend to like a foundation for a little while, then abandon it to go back to my Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Cream VIP Gold Collection. I have raved about this BB cream so many times, you may be sick of hearing about it! I compared it to other Skin79 BB Creams in this post, included it on my Top Ten Items I Repurchase list, and it is the first step in my Five Minute Face!

I get enough coverage from my Skin79 BB Cream that I wear it as an everyday foundation, but when I feel I need a little something more I reach for Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation. Normally I wouldn’t spend $60 on a foundation, but I bought it on a whim and haven’t regretted it. This foundation will truly give you a flawless finish, as long as your skin is prepped correctly! I have rather dry skin and in the winter that we are suffering through this year I have to make sure my skin is full moisturized before applying. However, I think it’s worth it because I can apply it with my fingers and a little goes a long way. I picked it up in the shade 4.5, which is a little too warm for me. I should have got 4.75 which is a true neutral. It will be perfect come this summer though!
The last foundation that I have been reaching for a lot lately is IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination*. Had you told me that I would like a powder foundation a few months ago I would have laughed at you! I have tried so many powder foundations in the past and hated every single one of them, but I love this one! A light application is perfect for days off when I just want my skin to appear more even, and I can apply it slightly heavier for a long day at work. See it in action in this post! The only bad thing about this foundation is that it was released as part of a QVC TSV and is currently not available on it’s own, but hopefully it will be soon!
