Valentine’s Day Nails with Bundle Monster BM-H16

Press Sample

Bundle Monster BM-H16

Nail Polish Canada very sweetly sent me a new Bundle Monster plate, just in time for Valentine’s Day.   On the BM-H16 you will find conversation hearts, tattoo hearts, roses and the word love written in a beautiful script.  It definitely got me in the mood to create Valentine’s themed nails!

First try stamping with Bundle Monster BM-H16

First up I tried stamping with my Konad Special White with Cult Nails  Devious Nature as a base (how gorgeous is it on its own?).  I couldn’t get the image to transfer well, so I grabbed my MoYou Special Black.  Same problem.  Then I realized it wasn’t the plate, it was the scraper!  I had been using some random scraper I found in my Helmer and it wasn’t cutting it.  I used my old standby – a store card that I don’t really need in my wallet.  It made all the difference in the world!

Stamping with Bundle Monster BM-H16 and MoYou Special Nail Polish

See how much darker everything is compared to my ring finger?  Once I stopped using the scraper, the images transferred perfectly!  Don’t mind my ring nail looking squished, I didn’t wait long enough for my top coat to dry.

How pretty is the rose design?

Valentine's Day Mani

I changed it up a little for my actual V-day mani.  I used two of the stamps from the Bundle Monster plate.   The base is Seche Buttoned Up (from the Perfectly Poised collection) with a layer of Salon Perfect  Loves Me Loves Me Not on my index finger and Hearts A Flutter on my pinky (both from the Love, Lashes & Lacquer collection).
