Are They Dupes - OPI Catch Me In Your Net vs The Sky's The Limit

When I saw the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang Collection by OPI at ULTA, my eye was immediately drawn to The Sky’s My Limit.  It looked suspiciously like OPI Catch Me In Your Net, which was a very limited edition collection from 2010 called Summer Flutter.  Are they dupes?  Let’s find out!

On the first coat they looked very similar – so similar I was sure they were going to be dupes!  By the second coat, however, I could tell they were going to be different – CMIYN has a lighter, turquoise base, where The Sky’s My Limit is more of a blue-leaning teal.  After the third coat, the difference was obvious!

By the way, if you are lemming Catch Me In Your Net, Zoya Charla and Orly Halley’s Comet are perfect dupes!  They all came out around the same time.  I found Halley’s Comet in the old packaging here, and the newer packaging here.  (Am I the only one that hates Orly’s new packaging?  It’s been a year but I still can’t get over how ugly it is.)

I gotta say, I am in LOVE with The Sky’s My Limit – I have been wearing it since July 3rd!  I am scheduled to receive the rest of the Mustang collection this week, so stay tuned for swatches!  Until then, you can see swatches of The Sky’s My Limit on my Instagram here, here and here.

If you are looking for The Sky’s My Limit, the Mustang collection has already been picked over at most ULTA’s, so you may do better to find it online!  I found it in stock on ULTA.com, Amazon and eBay.  I have a feeling that this collection is going to be as limited as the Summer Flutter Collection was!
