Can you believe that it’s August already? I know I can’t! It’s the busiest time of year at my job, and I basically run my tail off for 8 hours strait. You should see my arms though, who knew you could get cut by lifting up boxes of spiral bound notebooks all day!
Enough whining, it’s time for Friday Favorites!
CND Scentsations Lotion in Enchant – Even though this is a lightweight lotion, I like it because it sinks in quickly and it smells amazing! It smells just like CND Special Edition Solar Oil. Both products made in on my Top 10 Pedicure Products list! I found it on clearance at Beauty Brands, so I think it’s a holiday scent, but I have found it eBay and Amazon. In fact, I just ordered a travel size for my bag!
Pai Rosehip Bioregenerate Oil – I stumbled upon a review of this skin care product on Bronzer Bunny and before I knew what I was doing I placed an order! The lack of sleep and the stress at work has been taking a toll on my skin and I needed something ASAP! I had no idea it would get here so quickly though – I ordered it from their website on Tuesday night and it was here on Thursday! AND IT CAME FROM ENGLAND!
Perfective Ceuticals Divine Brightening Mask – When I come home from work tired to the bone, my favorite thing to do is jump in the shower to rinse off, put on some comfy pajamas, grab an icepack from the freezer for my back and lie down on the couch with one of these masks on. It is the most relaxing sheet mask I have ever used – it actually stays on my face without sliding around – and it smells amazing! I take a 20 – 30 minute cat nap on the couch and wake up with my back feeling better and my skin refreshed with enough energy to start working on this blog! I have only used this mask a few times, so I cannot comment on it’s brightening ability but I love the ingredients!
Lavanila The Healthy Deodorant in Fresh Lemon Sugar – When I received this to review, I thought it smelled amazing but never thought it would actually work. I have always used an antiperspirant/deodorant combo before, but after testing this for a week at work I can tell you I come home smelling great! The real test was when I forgot to wash my uniform and had to wear the same shirt two days in a row – and the shirt smelled amazing even on the second day! I am so happy to finally have a healthy alternative to the chemical filled stuff I have been using!
ICU Blue Modern Cat Eye Metallic Temple Sunglasses – I have talked about my love affair with sunglasses. Since I don’t see myself buying any Marc Jacobs sunglasses anytime soon, I am thrilled to say I have found a new brand that is both affordable AND are both 100% UV A and B protective! The Cat Eye style I was sent retails for $21.95. At that price, I plan on picking up a few more! I have my ‘eye’ on this Butterfly style.
