I thought I would change things up a bit with this week’s Friday Favorites and show you some clothing that I have been digging lately!

First up, the Amanda Skinny jean from DL1961.  I’d never heard of this brand until I received these jeans in my last StitchFix*.  According to their website, “DL1961 is a premium denim company based in New York that is redefining what it means to have the perfect pair of jeans. Made using patented XFIT technology fabric that adapts to your unique body shape to give custom fit and comfort, these 4-way stretch jeans will not sag, bag, or lose shape.”

I thought that the promise that they would not loose their shape was intriguing – all of my Citizen denim has stretched after just a few hours of wearing, which wouldn’t be bad if they weren’t skinny jeans.  So I tried the Amanda Skinny on for a few hours and was impressed!  They really didn’t stretch!  I wore them for Friday night date night last week.  The next morning I slipped them on to see if they had stretched, and they had not!

*StitchFix is a monthly subscription service in which a “personal stylist” will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle (based upon a style quiz and your own Pinterest boards).  I received my first StitchFix for free, normally there is a $20 styling fee for each Fix.  That fee can be applied to any of the items in your box.  Since my first free box, I have “purchased” two additional boxes on my own.  Tip: be sure to answer the style questions honestly so that you do not end up with pieces that are too expensive!
