How many of you are as happy as I am that OPI has released a Halloween collection that doesn't have an orange polish? While inspired by The Great Pumpkin, Peanuts by OPI contains a bright yellow (for Charlie Brown's shirt), a black creme (for Lucy's hair) and two awesome glitters. The glitters are intended for layering over one of the creme shades, but I chose to swatch them on their own so that you could see the different types of glitters better.
Who Are You Calling Bossy?!? is what I would call a "soft black" creme that is opaque in two coats.
Good Grief! is a bright, sunny yellow that was on the thin side. This requires two thick coats, or three thin coats, as I wore here.
To Beagle or Not To Beagle contains large red, blue, cyan and soft yellow hex glitter, black microglitter and black bar glitter. Normally I detest bar glitter, but it was short enough that it didn't bother me. (Long bar glitter looks like hair!)
Where's My Blanket??? contains orange, peach and soft yellow hex glitter with smaller matte black mircroglitter.
I really liked this year's taken on Halloween from OPI. You may already have similar cremes in your collection, but the glitters are very unique. I also did not have to try "too hard" to get the hex glitter out of the bottle, which is a plus!
Peanuts by OPI will be available this month, in September, where ever OPI is sold. Each shade will be available individually, as well as in the Little Peanuts set. I haven't spotted it at ULTA or Sally online yet, though it has already popped up on eBay. I can't wait until the box set is released, I bet the decals are adorable!
