Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week – I know I did! I am absolutely loving my new job! Let’s take a look at what else I’ve been loving this week:
My skin has been feeling particularly dry with the wind we have been experiencing lately, so I pulled out an old favorite – the AmorePacific Moisture Bound Vitalizing Masque (recently renamed Moisture Bound Sleeping Recovery Mask). Check out my full review!
Can you believe it’s time for holiday palettes already? I’ve got two that I am head over heals for – Tarte Away Oui Go Portable Palette & Collector's Set and the IT Cosmetics Limited Edition Holiday Naturally Pretty Celebration Matte Palette! I’ve had previous versions of both of these palettes in the past, and I gotta say these two are taking it up a notch! The Tarte shadows are creamier and more pigmented than I remember from past holiday palettes (I think I bought my last one two years ago) and I love the shades in the Naturally Pretty Celebration palette! Everyone went ga-ga over the first one, and don’t get me wrong – I liked it! But the shade range in this palette is so much more “me.” Both of these palettes are ULTA exclusives and I promise I will have swatches up next week. Keep an eye on my Instagram for sneak peaks!
Next, yoga gear! Now, I don’t actually “do” yoga, but I do power walk so when Lucy asked me if I wanted to try a few of their pieces I jumped at the chance. I already knew it was a great brand because I have a pair of Lucy two pairs of cropped yoga pants that I bought the first time I lived in Denver – which means they are over 10 years old. And they are both still in great shape!
I actually have two favorites from Lucy - the Flexibility Tank and the Hatha Leggings. The Flexibility Tank is amazing! With my body shape the way it is (I wear a 36DD) I have a very, very, very hard time finding workout tank tops with built-in bras that actually fit me. Hell, I have a hard enough time just finding a sports bra that fits me! The Flexibility Tank (now available in a brilliant blue!) not only fits, it supports me AND slims my frame! My other favorite from Lucy is the Hatha Leggings in Charcoal. They are so comfy, I find myself reaching for them even when I’m not working out!
